In this way, low pressure will be formed at the oil inlet cavity to generate suction, which will suck the oil in the oil pan into the oil cavity. As the driving and driven gears continue to rotate, the oil is constantly pressed to the required position. The function of the oil pump is to raise the oil to a certain pressure, and then force it to the moving surface of all parts of the engine. The structure of oil pump can be divided into gear type and rotor type.
