(2) Injector resistance inspection

Disassemble the connector of the injector wiring harness, and measure the resistance between the two terminals of the injector with a multimeter. The low resistance injector should be 2~3Ω, and the high resistance injector should be 13~16Ω, otherwise it should be replaced. fuel injector.

(3) Injector leak check

The dripping of the fuel injector can be checked on the special equipment, or the fuel injector and the fuel delivery pipe can be removed, and then connected to the fuel system, and the fuel pump test terminal on the diagnostic base can be connected to the 12V power supply with a special wire. , and then turn on the ignition switch, or directly use the battery to energize the fuel pump. After the fuel pump works, observe whether the injector is dripping. If the fuel injector drips more than 1 drop within 1 minute during the inspection, the fuel injector should be replaced.

(4) Check the fuel injection quantity of the fuel injector

The fuel injection quantity of the injector can be checked on the special equipment, or can be prepared according to the drip check. After the fuel pump is working, directly energize the fuel injector with the battery and wire, and check the fuel injection amount of the fuel injector with the measuring cup. Each injector should be checked 2~3 times, and the fuel injection quantity and uniformity of each cylinder injector should meet the regulations, otherwise the injector should be cleaned or replaced.

Note: The low-resistance fuel injector cannot be directly connected to the battery, and an additional resistor of 8-10Ω must be connected in series. In addition, the fuel injection volume and uniformity of the injectors of various models are different. Generally, the fuel injection volume of the fuel injector is 50~70mL/15s, and the fuel injection volume of each cylinder injector does not differ by more than 10%.
